Peter Clarke Janes, MD

Dr. Janes and his wife, Patricia, have been living in the Summit and Eagle counties since 1987. They now reside in Breckenridge. Dr. Janes has dedicated his life's work to sports medicine. In addition to treating thousands of patients, he has researched and been published on a wide variety of sports injury topics including skiing, snowboarding and hockey.

It is no surprise that when Peter takes time to play, hockey and inline skating are his favorite choices. You may find Dr. Janes at the Steven C. West Ice Arena on Sunday nights with the "over 40" players. He recently completed the Northshore Inline Marathon in Minnesota. And Dr. Janes has done more than study snowboarding... he used to ride! "I know what it's like to be a beginner," he laughs. "You don't fall in snowboarding. You catch an edge and you're sucked to the earth."
