About Sean
Dr. Sean Juarez is a Colorado native and is from Lakewood, Colorado. He received his Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science, with a concentration in Sports Medicine at Colorado State University in 2012. After receiving his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Colorado Denver in 2015, Dr. Juarez started his career in physical therapy at a small private practice in Scottsdale, Arizona. It was there that he gained experience and a passion for golf rehabilitation. Later, Dr. Juarez moved back to Colorado, working for various other outpatient physical therapy practices before joining the Vail-Summit Orthopaedics & Neurosurgery team.
Dr. Juarez has experience treating a wide range of physical ailments, orthopedic conditions, and sports-related injuries but is passionate about sacroiliac and low back pain treatment. He feels the best results are obtained from a heavy manual approach followed by specific exercises to reinforce the manual therapy he has performed. What he enjoys most about living and working in the mountains is being able to help a highly active population return to the activities they enjoy the most.
In his free time, Dr. Juarez enjoys playing golf, weight training, snowboarding, fishing, and traveling as much as he can.
