Common Shoulder Trauma & Injuries as a Result of Summer Sports & Activities
Time & Location
About the Event
Activities like hiking, biking, and kayaking are wildly popular in the mountains, but as many can attest to, they don't come without risks. Join Dr. Cunningham on Thursday, July 22nd for a virtual discussion on shoulder pain and injuries commonly seen as a result of summer sports and activities. This presentation will cover a broad scope of shoulder injuries, issues, and treatment options, including clavicle fractures, shoulder dislocations, and more. Dr. Cunningham will also discuss how to safely continue enjoying these activities after a shoulder injury. Sarah Campbell from Avalanche Physical Therapy will also be presenting on the important role PT plays in the recovery and management of shoulder pain and trauma. Registration is free but required.
