Founded in 2013 by the doctors at Vail-Summit Orthopaedics, the Vail-Summit Orthopaedic Foundation (VSOF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving outcomes for all orthopaedic and sports medicine patients through partnerships with organizations such as Vail-Summit Orthopaedics, Vail Valley Medical Center, St. Anthony Summit Medical Center, and the University of Denver Human Dynamics Laboratory.
Today, we find that for patients to recover more quickly and improve their health, clinicians must be fueled with data and information that can only come from asking patients questions about how they are feeling, how they are limited, and what their expectations are. To accomplish this, VSOF is currently implementing a state-of-the-art web-based clinical outcomes database that enables us to collect valuable clinical information from the voice of the patient.
