"I first fell in love with the Rocky Mountains while studying at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, so I am excited to begin my practice at Vail-Summit Orthopaedics and serve the Edwards, Frisco and Vail communities,” says Dr. Braxton. “I am passionate about getting my patients back to their active lifestyles as quickly as possible, using the same minimally invasive techniques designed to return our professional soldiers, sailors and airmen back to duty quickly.”

After receiving his doctor of medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Dr. Braxton completed his internship in general surgery at Wilford Hall Medical Center at Lackland Air Force Base and residency in neurological surgery at the Neuroscience Institute at Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh. His subspecialty focus is minimally invasive brain and spine surgery.
