Kelli grew up in Fort Collins, CO. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Denver where she majored in Biology with minors in Psychology and Health. She played all four years on the DU Women’s soccer team. Upon graduation, she obtained her EMT and worked on an ambulance for a year in Aurora, CO while obtaining work experience for PA school. She then earned her Master of Science from Baylor College of Medicine’s Physician Assistant Program in Houston, TX. After graduation, Kelli spent 2.5 years working as an Emergency Department PA in Houston, TX. She then moved back to Colorado and began her position at VSON.
Kelli lives in Silverthorne. She enjoys playing soccer, running, mountain biking, snowboarding, and traveling.
COLLEEN MINTZ, FNP-C
Colleen Mintz, FNP-C is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in Neurosurgery. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Seattle University, after which she decided to pursue a career in healthcare, which she began in Vail in 2004. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Colorado Denver Anschutz Medical Campus, and worked as a Registered Nurse for 10 years in institutions between Vail and Denver before obtaining her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Colorado Denver Anschutz Medical Campus.
Colleen is thrilled to work at VSON, where she can pursue her passion of helping patients achieve an optimal quality of life through provision of exceptional patient care and neurosurgical outcomes. Colleen enjoys snowboarding, hiking, biking, yoga and travelling with her husband, daughter and dog in her free time.
CHAD FORD PA-C
Chad was born and raised in Weirton, West Virginia. He earned his undergraduate degree in 2014 from Wheeling Jesuit University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minor in Chemistry. During his time at Wheeling Jesuit, he was a member of both the soccer and baseball teams. He then continued his education at West Liberty University where he received his Master of Physician Assistant Studies in 2016. Following his graduation, Chad began working in Elkins, West Virginia where he could pursue his passion in orthopedics by working for Tygart Valley Orthopedics and Sports Medicine for the next 3 years. Currently, Chad is continuing his career at Vail-Summit Orthopedics with Dr. Richard Cunningham. Primarily he focuses on the knees, shoulders, and sports related injuries by seeing patients in Summit and Eagle counties. Additionally, he also helps cover the Frisco Orthopedic Urgent Care to treat patients with acute injuries. He enjoys using his free time seeking out adventures snowboarding, biking, hiking, and almost everything outdoors.
ANNIE BOWEN PA-C
Annie received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology from Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri, and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Missouri State University. Annie is board certified by the NCCPA and is a fellow with the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She has over 13 years of experience as a physician assistant in orthopaedics, the last nine of which she has spent here at VSON. She works with Dr. Dorf and Dr. Joseph.
Annie lives in Breckenridge with her husband and golden retriever. They love living in the mountains, and enjoy skiing, hiking, camping and traveling.
LINDSAY BERGMAN MMSC, PA-C
Upper Extremity, Hand and Knee, Trauma
Originally from Minnesota, Lindsay obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Cultural Studies from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. She spent the next two years gaining valuable experience working with health care providers in rural Kenya as a volunteer with the US Peace Corps. After this, she moved to Colorado where she received her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies in a dual degree program through Red Rocks Community College and St. Francis University. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Lindsay loves almost any activity that combines a physical challenge with the outdoors. Since moving to Colorado, she has thru-hiked the 486-mile Colorado Trail and completed an ultramarathon, as well as many other shorter races. She lives with her fiancé and Miniature Australian Shepherd in Eagle County where they enjoy backpacking, camping and snowboarding.
DANIEL A. WOOD MMSC, PA-C, AT

Daniel earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of New Hampshire where he majored in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Athletic Training. He then moved to Jackson, Wyoming where he worked as the head athletic trainer at Jackson Hole high school for 7 years. He earned his Master of Medical Science from Yale University School of Medicine: Physician Associate Program. After 2 years working in Denver, CO, Daniel moved to his current position, back in the mountains of Summit and Eagle counties. He works with Dr. Nathan Cafferky MD.
Daniel lives in Breckenridge with his wife and son. They enjoy skiing, biking, paddle boarding and traveling in their free time.
