Operational Status During COVID-19: A Letter to Our Community
At Vail Summit-Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery (VSON) we want to assure the public and our employees that we are continuing to follow CDC guidelines regarding office sanitation and personal protective equipment (PPE) utilization, and we are operating with an overabundance of caution, care and cleanliness to make sure our offices are safe.
Through detailed screenings, we do our utmost to deter anyone with any COVID, flu, or even cold-like symptoms from entering our lobby. We are also offering Telehealth options (accepted by almost all insurance groups) for patients who are in high-risk categories or simply don’t feel comfortable coming in.
All VSON staff, along with each patient that enters our clinic are required to wear a mask while in our offices. If any individual does not have a mask, VSON will provide them with a complimentary one.
Employees who are sick, afraid they might have been exposed to Coronavirus, have children out of school to attend to, or are in a high-risk category, are able to stay at home and work from home if possible.
We must keep our doors open and continue to serve the Summit and Eagle County communities throughout the COVID-19 situation. Accidents & injuries still happen, and it is our duty to continue to provide the best orthopaedic care possible to those who require our services.
To both our employees as well as our patients and local community members: we are here for you when you need us.
