Vail, Colo., December 1, 2020 - Vail-Summit Orthopaedics & Neurosurgery (VSON) thrilled to announce the grand opening of our new clinic in the recently completed east wing of Vail Health Hospital. A small, socially-distanced ribbon cutting ceremony was held on the morning of Monday, November 30th to celebrate the clinic’s opening.
At the ceremony, Dr. William Sterett welcomed his first patient, Mrs. Sheika Gramshammer, to the new offices. Dr. Sterett and Mrs. Gramshammer cut the ribbon at 8:30 am, officially opening the clinic to the public.
“Sheika and her husband Pepi were instrumental in establishing the medical community in the Vail Valley,” said Dr. Sterett. “We were honored to welcome her to our new clinic as she, once again, opens the doors for patients in need.”
The new orthopaedic clinic in Vail allows VSON to better serve our patients with additional exam rooms (featuring panoramic views of Vail Mountain) and access to state-of-the-art medical facilities. The new lobby features a comfortable atmosphere for our patients, including upscale seating complete with a fireplace for individuals to enjoy while waiting to meet with their orthopaedic healthcare provider.
“The new VSON clinic located in Vail Health’s new east wing underscores our commitment to our orthopaedic and research programs,” said VSON CEO John Polikandtriotis. “The new clinic allows us to provide our patients and families an improved patient experience with access to high-quality services when they want it, where they want it, delivered the way they want it."
